Necessity the mother of invention...yes it's proved over and over how ideas are born out of need!
Quilts for Cats is no exception.
Tracy Evans, cat lover, and creator of Quilts for Cats, had one such idea a few years ago.
At the time there were 2 cats, Maggie and Phoebe, precious cats, but oh how they loved to make their nest on whatever clothing might be left on the bed. Over time it became quite evident that if any fabric item was left on the bed, the cats were going to lay on it.Using fabric she had on hand and the skills learned from her mother ( an avid quilter from Indiana), Tracy made a small quilt for her cats to lay on. Needless to say, it did the trick. Before long the quilt was the preferred destination for the cats when on the bed!
It is important to note that all quilts from Quilts for Cats are washable and will last for years with proper care (as long as they aren't clawed to death!).
We are pleased to offer these hand made quilts to you! Tracy makes each and every quilt by hand. All quilts are signed and numbered (mostly so we can keep track of how many are made) and so our customers can be assured of authenticity.
